Rockwell Collins' ARINCDirect flight support services provide operators with one comprehensive source for all their flight support needs.
In this role the Customer Account Specialist will be responsible for measuring performance to customers on many dimensions.
Duties will include, but not are limited too:
Provide basic quotes (Catalog net / list / pre-approved Sales Bulletins; standard Terms and Conditions).
Validate customer Purchase Order against basic / standard contractual terms negotiating with the customer any issues identified.
Work with appropriate functions within the company to achieve delivery lead times to satisfy customer's requirements.
Interacts with customer prior to and/or after sale developing and maintaining positive partner relationships.
May help develop customer presentations.
Identifies areas for process improvement, drives change through lean methodology.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Three (3) or more years in a Customer Support role, preferably in aviation.
Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is required.
Strong understanding and skill-set in MS Office Word / Excel
Knowledgeable regarding the process of interacting with customers to provide positive experience and issue resolution.
Understands Rockwell Collins' basic rules, policies, and procedures.
Understands the importance of monitoring the status and quality of one's own work.
Uses elementary software packages for basic record keeping purposes.
Appreciates the importance of basing decisions on factual information and sound logic.
Understands the importance of remaining compassionate and empathetic when dealing with the problems of others.
Has an elementary understanding of the organization's competitive strengths and weaknesses.
Understands the importance of staying calm and relaxed under pressured situations.
- Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline or in the absence of a degree six years of related experience.
