This position also works with projects related to cash processes, internal controls, finance and accounting compliance while interfacing with leaders in Corporate Headquarters, Compliance, Purchasing, Security, and Internal Audit.This role offers the opportunity to gain an excellent knowledge of the key drivers of success and provides the opportunity to learn from all levels of management in one of the largest private companies in America. The knowledge and experience provided by this position provides an excellent platform for future career growth within the company.A Day In The Life Typically Includes:Primary ResponsibilitiesEnsure adequate internal financial controls (IFC) are in place to safeguard assetsParticipate in various projects related to system changes and provide support for internal controls and compliance during these projectsUnderstand key processes/systems in accounts payable in order to provide support for Georgia-Pacific divisions and facilitiesPartner with Koch Business Services to drive improvements in payroll accounting processesReview balance sheet reconciliations performed by our outsourcing provider and assist with issue resolution for required adjustmentsProvide oversight of the Corporate Headquarters annual budgeting process.
