Position Summary

The Patient Account Lead is responsible for training associates on department specific processes and procedures, including individual training and group training. This position is responsible for the development of training materials and for on-going updating of training materials. Assists with the development of policies and procedures surrounding posting. Responsible for cultivating strong partnerships with team members and leaders both within the department and across all departments of revenue management. Responsible for maintaining customer and patient satisfaction.

Minimum Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum Experience Requirements

Healthcare revenue cycle experience preferred Experience with Healthcare billing systems preferred Proficient in Microsoft computer applications

Position Duties (essential functions denoted with an * )

■Responsible for training department associates (both new and existing associates) on department processes and procedures.*

■Responsible for developing training materials and keeping training material up-to-date as changes in processes occur.*

■Responsible for communicating changes in processes and conducting associated training as needed.*

■Assist supervisors and manager with the development of processes and procedures including training material for all new processes.*

■Serves as technical resource to staff when they have questions.*

■Perform quality review and compliance audits of associates’ work to identify training opportunities.*

■Responsible for communicating and reporting audit results to supervisors and manager to assist them with identifying associates requiring continuing or additional education.*

■Responsible for providing input and data surrounding associates’ quality and accuracy to be used by supervisors in associates’ reviews and 1-on-1’s.*

■Function as the backup for both associates and supervisors when out of the office.*

■Assist with production work as needed to meet monthly department goals such as Days in AR and Cash Collections.*

■Responsible for special projects as assigned.*
