The Technology Services Sourcing Manager will be asked to efficiently and independently perform the duties and responsibilities for this role as outlined below:

  • In partnership with Citi stakeholders: identify, develop, sell (to stakeholders) and execute agreed saves projects in alignment with agreed strategy. These multi-million dollar projects will span across multiple geographies and businesses

  • Actively manage designated stakeholders and vendor relationships

  • Lead complex tenders and supply agreement negotiations independently or as part of a virtual team

  • Be the subject matter expert on the development and execution of ‘best fit’ commercial documents for the protection of Citi's contractual interests, satisfaction of customer's needs, and adherence to regulation, legislation and company policy

  • Responsibility to co-ordinate the resolution of commercial issues both, pre and post stakeholder / supplier escalation - keeping senior management informed as deemed necessary

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal clients, SME’s (legal, risk, compliance, IT, finance) and global /regional/country ESC colleges and at all times work in a collaborative manner to achieve optimal outcomes for Citi

  • Support the realization of the annual cost reduction targets

Candidate must have a minimum of ten years experience in procurement, with the emphasis on:

  • Technology sourcing

  • Knowledge on IT services, including outsourcing and offshoring

  • Knowledge on software licensing, hardware and telecom

  • Complex negotiations, commercial models and contract drafting

  • Vendor and contract management

Prior experience on other relevant fields or roles are considered as a plus:

  • Service provider account management

  • IT service delivery experience

  • Financial Services

Comfortable working within the Citi organization and culture – specifically:

  • Working across multiple geographies, time zones and stakeholders

  • Working with minimal supervision

  • Taking ownership and being accountable

  • Comfortable with a high level of responsibility
