Robert Half Finance & Accounting Senior Accountant in CHICAGO, Illinois
Robert Half Finance is looking to fill a Senior Accountant position on a full-time basis. As a Senior Accountant, you will be required to perform financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role - Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports - Provide assistance in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external - Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary - Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
