The InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG®)

lavish long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites and the vibrant mid-scale

Holiday Inn (pre-opening). In addition to over 1000 bedrooms, the four

At the moment we're

looking for a Corporate Account Manager, Sales to join our pre-opening team at Holiday Inn®, Dubai FestivalCity .

The role’s primary

responsibility is to proactively create and

convert revenue opportunities for the Holiday Inn® Dubai Festival City from qualified

corporate key accounts by planning and executing sales activities based on

strategies and financial targets (hotel revenue, room night goals) outlined in the Hotel’s annual SBRP

Additional keyresponsibilities are:

  • DriveTotal Revenue (Room, C&B, F&B) and sell to new, existing andprospective customers considering goals set forth in the sales strategy,negotiating optimum rate for the benefit of the business.

  • Gaindepth knowledge about the business model, concept, market dynamics andtrends, exhibitions and geographic areas of the client portfolios that ismanaged

  • Developrelationships across all business units beyond the local market towardsGCC and Levant Region based offices and possibly in the Americas, Europeas well as APAC within the client’s organization.

  • Toutilize IHG® sales tools in an appropriate manner to ease work processesand make the same more efficient and transparent - SBRP, Delphi, Lanyon, IHGMerlin, IHG® Sales Source, AMG and IHG® Business Club.

  • Consistentlycommunicate “within” to share market intelligence, provide feedback andensure customer awareness with the Hotels and to ensure planning andcoordination of sales.

  • Activelysolicit and book business following hotel standards.

  • AttendIndustry Exhibitions to represent the hotels in front of prospect clients.

  • Growsexisting business and establishes and pursues leads which will developbusiness

  • Initiatesand prepares tenders for business

  • Monitorsexisting business and inputs into sales strategy meetings to maximizebusiness.

  • Servicesexisting business through management of account bases

  • Manage Accountsand ensure the constant generation of new corporate prospects for self

Qualifications

Ideally, you'll have some or all of thefollowing qualifications and experience we're looking for:

Required Skills and Experiences:

  • Goodcommunication and administrative skills

  • Abilityto be self-motivated, organized and demonstrate good team work

  • Fluencyin English

  • Computerliteracy (Microsoft applications)

  • Opera,Delphi

  • Pro-activeapproach, and the ability to meet deadlines

  • Minimumof 2 years’ experience in the service industry and Sales & Marketingenvironment
