CGI is seeking an Accounting Analyst to support their Oil and Gas clients in Fort Worth. This is a great opportunity for someone to build their career within Accounting. CGI provides a number of benefits and they all start on the first day of employment.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Day-to-day responsibilities providing support in a wide range of oil and gas accounting work.
Work with other departments and client in a proactive manner to resolve variances and accounting issues.
Compile, analyze, and report data to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to department procedures and goals.
Support and assist other groups within the department with daily tasks.
Prepare ad-hoc assignments/projects as necessary
Will work directly with Senior Staff and Management. Opportunity for growth into a Supervisory Position.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Candidate with prior accounting and reporting experience
Intermediate or Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Well developed research and analytical skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritize accordingly
Minimum 3-5 years Oil and Gas experience is required. Preferably Revenue, Trust, and/or Joint Interest Accounting experience.
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and interpersonal communication skills.
Undergraduate degree in Business,Finance, or Accounting.
