CORE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Manage the daily activities of housekeeping department according to scope of work. · Oversee · Planning, organizing and directing team members. · Daily supervision of housekeeping staff. · Recruit, schedule, and train new housekeeping staff members. · Maintain the housekeeping budget · Uphold the highest stands of cleanliness, safety, and conduct. · Knowledge of OSHA and safety standards within a housekeeping department. · Creating weekly schedules according to budget and contractual scope of work. · Purchase, re-order and maintain housekeeping supplies and inventory. · Ensures the proper usage and maintenance of all equipment · Build and maintain a collaborative relationship with security, mall management, corporate and the assigned regional manager SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS · Passing a pre-employment background screening and drug test will be required · Physical requirements of the job consist of repeated lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, prolonged standing and walking. · Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and procedures. · Leadership skills in teambuilding · Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. · Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily task or projects. · Must be detail oriented and organized. · Must have general knowledge in using the Microsoft Office Suite.
