You can expect a career full of brilliant possibilities.Position Summary:Management of account operations and support of the development and execution of business development and sales strategy to increase sales and profitability with the Customer Business Unit globally.Supervisory Responsibilities:No direct reportsJob Responsibilities:•Develop and negotiate pricing for sales, logistics, packaging and annual price reductions for assigned business and opportunities.•Identify and develop new business opportunities on existing book of business, as well as new opportunities. Develop and present above internally/externally.•Assist the CBU director in developing a long-term global strategy for Audio products. Develop documentation for and present above internally/externally as appropriate.Provide overall account management on assigned book of business, including, but not limited to:•Create and fulfill a support plan for the customer's sales, product planning, marketing and public relations organizations•Maintain and manage relationships within the customer keeping Harman in good standing and extracting commercial and technical information necessary to win future business•Establishes and maintain contact with functional management to facilitate effective and efficient account operations.•Ensure commitments are being met and raising issues quickly when items are at risk.•Manages sales progress and profitability and directs organization, maximizing potential.•Analyzes sales, marketing methods and competitor activities and makes recommendations to improve exposure and increase sales volume.•Keep abreast of customer policies and future directions.•Communicate required audio system design/engineering/manufacturing information to the customer and internally.•Manages team communication, coordination and management of configuration/change management (DCR, CR) for external driven/facing changes affecting commercial agreements.•Periodically monitor/review current and future sales forecast information flow for efficient communication between customer and plants.•Develop 5+ year Audio sales plan for Business Unit (contribute for assigned projects and/or overall plan as appropriate).•Coordinate the global Audio business opportunity pipeline for the GM Business Unit, including platforms, vehicles, major/minor facelifts, sourcing timelines, estimated volumes, penetration rates, and probability of business in order to justify resource requests and planning to the organization.Work with the Director, GM CBU and VP/GM, GM CBU to develop sales policies and practices for use with customers or company internal directions, as well as supporting the development of long and short term strategic marketing plans.Basic Qualifications:
