As our Event Scheduling & Account Specialist, you will collaborate with key accounts and/or businesses in strategically scheduling high-level, complex employee- and/or consumer-facing meetings and events that take place at Nike World Headquarters (WHQ), including conference centers, extended WHQ buildings, and exterior locations.

You will be the primary contact for key accounts and/or businesses for scheduling conferences, events, meetings, and presentations, ensuring client and attendee needs are met or exceeded. You will determine appropriate rooms needed based on date/s request, size of group, number of rooms/days, catering needs, and basic A/V requirements. You will provide clients with first and second “holds”, based on their needs and an understanding of the booking process along with maximizing use of the facility by appropriate booking techniques. You will verify budget for event is appropriate. You will be responsible to prepare and distribute “Event Confirmation Agreement” (ECA) for each event including a description of rooms booked and estimate of rental charges based on event’s agenda, reserved space and number of days, and complete initial event function scripting. You will advise clients and communicate the WHQ M&E policies, procedures and potential rental usage or other charges that may impact their events. Assist clients with finding alternate dates or space when necessary. Key resource to clients to determine the optimum space use at WHQ M&E Managed Facilities.

You will interface with assist Sr. Event Planner on Key Events. Includes attending planning meetings, updating booking, & functions when needed. You will maintain high standards for customer service to clients and serve as additional point of contact prior to the execution of the event and assist with updates during event. You will assist in updating and maintaining meeting software database (Ungerboeck) along with producing reports, when requested. You will recommend improvements to the event scheduling process to ensure a successful meeting and event environment.



  • Bachelor's degree inevents/hospitality and/or related field is preferred.

  • At least 4 years' event management experiencein a hotel, convention or conference center is preferred.

  • In-depthhospitality industry understanding to provide the highest level ofcustomer service.

  • Superiorinterpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Abilityto manage multiple projects with frequent interruptions, with minimalsupervision and within aggressive time frames is required.

  • Strongorganization, networking, and communication skills.

  • Ableto clearly and concisely communicate and develop relationships withclients.

  • Advancedskills in meeting management software (Ungerboeck) preferred but notrequired.

  • Advancedskills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to travel to/fromevent locations/venues including those outside of WHQ, as needed.

  • Ableto lift and transport at least 20-30 lbs. of weight.
