Division Information PACCAR Parts PACCAR Parts operates a network of parts distribution centers offering aftermarket support to Kenworth, Peterbilt and DAF dealers and customers around the world. Aftermarket support includes customer call centers operating 24 hours a day throughout the year and technologically advanced systems to enhance inventory control and expedite order processing. Requisition Summary Management of a wide range of accounting functions for the truck after-market organization with emphasis on general accounting, accounts payable, internal control and month-end reporting. This includes US, Canada, and Latin America consolidated financial information. Job Functions / Responsibilities - Oversee management of the day-to-day accounting functions related to general accounting and accounts payable. Responsible for supervising, mentoring and motivating a staff size of 27 which includes three direct reports. - Directs the preparation of timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports, including journal entries, account reconciliations and monthly management reporting package. Analyze information and communicate opportunities to maximize profit and return on investment. This includes US, Canada, and Latin America consolidated financial information. - Oversee all accounts payable functions including inventory, direct ship, overhead/travel, fleet and all related reporting and analysis. - Oversee the implementation of new initiatives related to the accounts payable function for Direct-Ship programs. - Analyze operating expenses, reserves and other account balances to ensure they are properly stated including quarterly management reporting. - Recommends and directs justification, development and implementation of accounting and operation systems requirements/enhancements for improved efficiency and cost reduction. Ensures Parts Business System (ASI) and Infinium are accurate and contain appropriate internal controls. - Directs the SOX, ICAP, and quarterly/annual reporting programs for the division. - Analyze complex transactions and recommend appropriate US GAAP treatment. - Review Business and Operating tax and Canadian tax filings. - Maintain effective communication as a member of the management team. - BS / BA Accounting Degree - 8 - 12 years of relevant accounting experience with increasing responsibility Desired Education/Training Experience CPA and MBA Additional Job Board Information PACCAR is an Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veteran/Disability.
