Kirlin Mechanical Services, LLC is a diversified contracting organization which offers a wide range of essential plumbing and mechanical services throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Our clients include commercial buildings, government agencies, research facilities and educational institutions. Kirlin Mechanical Services, LLC offers operation and maintenance services for plumbing and mechanical systems. We also provide renovation for mechanical systems.

We are currently seeking for a Senior Account Executives to join our team.

Job Summary

Under minimal direction, develops long-term customer relationships with assigned owner accounts. Maximizes account penetration of assigned accounts by serving the full spectrum of needs of the accounts with the full spectrum of Kirlin Mechanical Services offerings. Seeks for Kirlin to become the preferred solution provider of the assigned account, by becoming a trusted advisor with account owners. Ensures customer retention of assigned accounts. Partners with the operations team to maximize profit generation from accounts through influence. Utilizes sales tools to plan and document progress as well as increase business opportunity in accounts. Achieves annual sales plan and obtains and closes sales on a monthly basis.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Builds partnering relationships with the assigned accounts to drive the penetration of the service offerings. Maintains frequent face-to-face contact with the customers who most directly influence penetration. Actively listens, probes and identifies concerns. Addresses concerns and performance lapses. Understands the customers' business and speaks their language. Develops credibility, loyalty, trust and commitment.

  • With assigned owner accounts, consistently drives favorable Kirlin brand across all business lines.

  • Leads the team on individual projects based on account assignments. Honors the credit split guidelines.

  • Develops relationships with internal operations and administrative staff to ensure customer satisfaction, and effectively addresses issues.

  • Keeps management informed of progress and status of accounts. Leverages management with accounts, when and where appropriate.

  • Manages receivables balances in line with Kirlin objectives and policies.

  • Leads the sales team by building and fostering team relationships to ensure customer satisfaction. Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff. Develops relationships with organization to exceed customers' expectations. Owns and facilitates the customer relationship.

  • Assists in the development of the team and business sales and marketing plans and strategies. Aides in the implementation of these strategies and action plans. Targets new customers based on account management and market strategies.

  • Utilizes applicable sales tools effectively (North Boundary) to plan and document progress as well as increase penetration of accounts.

  • Participates in professional organizations.


  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related discipline required. MBA preferred.

  • A minimum of ten years of progressive field sales experience.

  • Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence the market at key levels.

  • Ability to travel 25%.
