LMI Aerospace Accounts Payable Clerk in St. Charles, Missouri
The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for vouchering invoices for payment to vendors, timely discrepancy resolution and problem invoice tracking. The Accounts Payable Clerk will work with internal and external customers. While performing all duties and responsibilities, the Clerk will at all times, model LMI values and principles and act in a manner consistent with the LMI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Process all invoices received in an accurate and timely manner
Enter pertinent invoice data in ERP system
Obtain approval from appropriate personnel to process non-PO invoices
Assign appropriate account coding
Determine sales or use tax liability
File entered invoices daily/weekly
Review invoices for compliance with capitalization guidelines
Effectively communicate with purchasing and/or plant personnel and vendors to resolve billing issues
Track and provide timely and accurate metric reporting to management
Reconcile site petty cash/checkbook monthly
Post accurate and timely journal entries
Review, research and analyze unmatched receipts; provide monthly analysis to management
Assist with special projects and participate on various process improvement teams as requested
Participate in team meetings and prepare for discussions
Provide professional, timely customer service to both internal and external customers
Other duties as assigned by management
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two (2) years Accounts Payable or financial support experience preferred
Shared Services environment experience is beneficial
Specific Job Skills:
Experience with SAP strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Ability to use office equipment including fax machine, copier and scanner
Ability to enter large volume of numeric and alpha data with minimal errors

Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time at a desk working and/or attending meetings with periodic breaks. Must be able to move throughout the office and/or manufacturing area and talk, hear or otherwise communicate with employees, management, customers, suppliers and others. May occasionally lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.
Work Environment: Normal work environment is a typical office setting. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when on the shop floor.
Special Requirement: The ability to work extended hours, including possible weekends, as required. Some travel to other LMI sites, locations or special training programs should be expected.
