Jobpurpose

We arelooking for a talented Key Account Manager who wants to enhance their skills and further their career in an award winning online subscription information service for socialworkers and other professionals working with adults, children andfamilies. Our approachfocuses on delivering value for our customers and as a Key Account Manager, youwill be working ina consultative manner to sell business information services to a designatedgroup of prospects and as well as managing accounts to secure renewals andupsell opportunities. This will be achieved through strong business developmentand account management skills, both in regular face to face meetings and viathe telephone to achieve and exceed on targets.

Theideal candidate will receive a generous, uncapped bonus scheme, additionalincentives, along with ongoing coaching and support to develop theirskills.

The department

Launched in2007, Community Care Inform ( www.ccinform.co.uk ) supports social careprofessionals working with children and families. In late 2014, we launched an additionalservice for professionals working disabled and older people ( www.adults.ccinform.co.uk ). With over half of the local authorities in England and Wales ascustomers, the two subscription-based practicesupport services provide trusted and accurateinformation in a quick and accessible format to help social care professionalsremain legally compliant, mitigate risk and evidence their decisions.

Key accountabilities/responsibilities

  • Creates innovative ways to build business from new customers

· Identifies and builds relationshipswith key decision makers/influencers and establishes a network of contactswithin customer organisations

  • Plans and prospects effectively to ensure a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve revenue targets and KPIs
  • Develops account plans for customers, setting strategies and timelines for review
  • Penetrates existing customers to increase revenue & sell additional licences

· Effectively manages given territory tobe visible with all customers

  • Possesses up to date knowledge of customers and their local and regional markets
  • Provides high standards of service to all customers
  • Delivers accurate and effective internal reporting on renewals, upsells and new business
  • Ensures product knowledge is of a high standard to enable sales potential to be realised, including our competitive positioning

· Works effectively with the customersuccess team to ensure maximum engagement and secure renewals

  • Shares market knowledge in an intelligent manner with customers
  • Provides customer and sales intelligence to colleagues in sales, customer success, content and marketing
