Lenovo Retail Account Executive, Regionals/Distribution- Southeast in Tampa, Florida

The Lenovo Account Executive (A/E) for Regionals & Distribution is a new and critical role for Lenovo in the U.S. This A/E will be primarily responsible for driving Lenovo Consumer Product sales to Regional Retailers through distribution partners.

The two focus areas for the A/E will be: 1. Creating customer relationships and uncovering opportunities for Lenovo to gain marketshare in U.S Regional PC Retail customers a. Expand our product portfolio, sales and footprint in the U.S. Regional retail channel b. Defining & communicating specific product needs for Regional Retailers to the NA Product Team c. Understand U.S.Regional Retail market data and PC insight to identify areas of growth for Lenovo. 2. Driving sell through of products out of distribution to Regional retailer partners a. Manage the Lenovo retail relationship with select distributors b. Grow business in current customer base c. Support the specific product needs of your accounts d. Work with distributors to create new routes & customers for Lenovo Products

Growth of Lenovo at Regional Retailers through distribution is a strategic goal for Lenovo – we are looking for someone with the knowledge and aptitude to deliver on this strategic initiative. Ideal candidate will have experience selling PC’s and/or consumer products through distribution

The A/E will drive new and existing areas of business for Lenovo retail product offerings, assisting in the refinement of Lenovo’s distribution retail strategy and programs, as well as continuing to accelerate the current sales portfolio offered through distribution. Responsibilities: Regional Retailer and Distribution Growth

  • Manage the accounts and understand the unique requirements of each

  • Work with product and sales team to help define & execute Lenovo strategy

  • Represent Lenovo to the accounts in a positive and professional manner

  • Sell in Lenovo PC’s and consumer products

  • Achieve quarterly sell-in quota

  • Gain marketshare for Lenovo

Regional Retailer and Distribution Champion

  • Lead quarterly product roadmap meeting and long term planning with our distribution partner

  • Identify and close new opportunities in your accounts

  • Attends key meetings with the regional retailers and distribution buying team

  • Analyze and develop retail sales objectives by category/product line for each account

  • CPFR - Drive & outline forecasts from each account, helps manage retail inventory and cycle from launch through product end of life.

Retail Sales Out Activity

  • Coordinates support for retailer trainings, demo days, etc, as needed

  • Effectively manages retail marketing, promotional and advertising programs with your customers to maximize sales potential

  • Develops account relationships to gain preferred position for Lenovo retail products online

  • Communicates Lenovo vision, strategies, initiatives as they relate to Retailers

  • Assists with sell-in of new retail products through distribution

  • Reviews retail category/market trends/market share with customers

  • 5+ Year selling technology to Retailers through distribution

  • Retail strategy and execution expertise

  • Clear understanding of NA PC Marketplace. Including the retail and competitors landscape.

  • Advanced MS Office skills, focusing on Excel

  • 5+ year experience of managing retail forecasts. Experience with CPFR

  • 5+ year quota bearing experience
