Position Summary The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for collections of outstanding accounts receivable dollars from the existing client base and all other aspects of collections as well as resolving customer billing problems and reducing accounts receivable delinquency. Performs various revenue accounting duties to ensure customer A/R trade accounts are accurately maintained and reconciled. Target Position Responsibilities Performs the following: Review open accounts for collection efforts Resolve client discrepancies and short payments Handle a high volume of collection calls Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with customers and sales. Accountable for reducing days sales outstanding (DSO) for assigned accounts. Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates Identify issues attributing to account delinquency and discuss them with management Maintain daily reports for collection activity Enlist the efforts of sales, operations, and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collection process Communicate and follow up effectively with sales, operations, and senior management regarding customer accounts on a timely basis.
