I. Job Summary: Responsible for efficiently processing financial transactions including General Ledger, Revenue Accounting, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Fixed Assets and Projects, Inventory and other areas as directed. Also responsible for tracking, validating and posting summary information. Must prepare reports and analyses as well as account reconciliations between General Ledger and appropriate subsidiary ledgers while maintaining appropriate documentation and support. Position may require detailed account research to resolve issues. II. Duties and Responsibilities:o Ensure all transactions are processed accurately and efficiently in accordance with company policies.o Continuously review and identify accounting processes for streamlining and improvement opportunities.o Prepare variance analyses and reports and communicate conclusions to management.o Prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and reports for management.o Responsible for following, supporting, and enforcing all internal control processes and procedures.o Other duties and projects as assigned. III. Qualification Requirements:o Education: High School diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in related field preferred.o Experience Level: 3-5 years of general accounting experience. Prefer experience with mid-tier accounting systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus.o Must be highly proficient in Excel and capable of managing large amounts of data. Positions require frequent interaction with colleagues in all areas of the business.
