Hard Rock International Accounts Receivable Supervisor in ATLANTIC CITY, New Jersey
Under the direction of the Casino Accounting Manager, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Accounts Receivable functions including the master and city ledger billings, credit card settlements and processing hotel credit applications.
Assist in hiring, training, motivating, evaluating and supervising staff in order to ensure that employee receives adequate guidance and resources to accomplish established department objectives.
Assist with the daily auditing, processing and recording of revenue and expenses for rooms. Ensures all work is coordinated properly with subordinates and completed on a timely basis.
Represent hotel to outside customers who have inquiries concerning their hotel charges.
Maintain control of credit card settlements to ensure all charges are processed timely and coordinates responses to all credit card inquiries.
Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly billing of customers on master and city ledger accounts to ensure timely payment by customers. Works on collection of all non-paid accounts. Processes credit applications for hotel customers/groups requesting billing arrangements.
Anticipate ongoing changes, problems and opportunities in order to maintain effective systems and procedures.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or GED is required. Minimum of three (3) years experience in Accounts Receivable is required. Minimum of one year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred. Excellent communication and organizational skills a must. Knowledge of personal computers and computer systems including LMS preferred. Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Must currently hold or be able to obtain a NJ Casino Employee Registration license through the NJ Division of Gaming Enforcement.
