The Federal Reserve System plays a critical role in the economy by operating a nation-wide electronic payments and information delivery network which has over 10,000 financial institution customers and transacts over 70 million payments daily, valued at more than $4 trillion.

We are seeking candidates for an Account Executive role to develop long term relationships with customers including banks, credit unions, retailers, payments processors and other financial services firms in the use of Federal Reserve Financial Services products.

Location

The position will be 100% remote with ideal home locations of Boston, Chicago, or Milwaukee

Job Summary

Develops long-term consultative relationships with existing customers to increase the potential for expanded business and customer retention. Manages FRS customer relationships with primarily small to medium accounts. Identifies and obtains new prospects in assigned territory. Meets goals for revenue, sales volume, strategic services and customer satisfaction. Coordinates FRS operational and technical support in response to customer needs. Provides customer perspective for new products or customized business solutions. The level of work required is considered intermediate and staff must be able to work under minimal supervision. This job does not have any direct reports.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

· Analyzes payments operations and processes of potential customers for cost savings, quality improvements or productivity gains from the use of Fed services.

· Consults with current or potential customers regarding industry practices for payments operations to support the development of new Fed products & services

· Prepares and presents cost/benefit proposals to prospective customers

· Independently conducts analysis of customer buying behaviors within a target segment to develop a calling program for potential new business and business retention

· Conducts payback analysis based on competitive market information obtained from customer interactions to support FRS product improvements

· Consults with customers on merger, acquisition and de novo activities

· Achieves annual revenue and strategic objectives for their assigned portfolio

· Achieves monthly external sales calling goals

· Provides input into marketing and sales plans including strategies to address the competition

· May conduct presentations related to Federal Reserve Bank products and services both internally and at industry conferences

· Develops solutions to moderately complex business scenarios and presents ideas to customers

· Monitors and reports on budget & target performance on an ongoing basis

· Performs other duties as assigned

Senior Regional Account Executive Level

Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below

· 4 plus years of direct experience

Regional Account Executive Level

Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below

· 2 plus years of direct experience.

Associate Regional Account Executive Level

Education and Experience

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience as noted below

· 1 plus years of direct experience

Knowledge and Skills

· Knowledge of the Federal Reserve System and the products, services, practices and procedures of the FRB Financial Services

· Independent thinking and decision making ability

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Experience with financial or banking industry

· Knowledge of depository institution operations

· Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills

· Ability to work in a professional team environment

· PC experience including CRM applications, MS Office

· Strong customer service focus

· Ability to travel up to 50%

· Valid driver's license
