RBC Client Account Services Supervisor in Minneapolis, Minnesota

What is the opportunity? The Client Account Services Supervisor oversees all day-to-day operations for this work group. The Client Account Services team provides support to the RBC Wealth Management branches, RBC Correspondent firms, RBC Advisor Services and various Operations departments. The supervisor will provide work direction to the department staff and ensure accurate and timely processing for the various support functions completed within this department. The products include Visa, Investment Access, Standard Checking, Transfer on Death accounts, and Money Markets. If this opportunity excites you, we want to hear from you! What will you do? Supervises all functions of the Client Account services department to ensure prompt and accurate turnaround on all work requests. Responsible for the timely resolution of problems. Strategically plans with the assistance of management, implements projects and efficiencies to improve customer service delivery. Supervises the Client Account Services staff by acting as a resource, conducting effective performance reviews and one on one meetings, training and cross-training staff, dealing effectively with performance issues, and hiring new staff. Strategically reviews processes and procedures to ensure staff have the proper tools to effectively and efficiently do their jobs. Supports the Client Account Services Manager with project management of new initiatives. Assists manager in maintaining effective relationships with retail branches, firm staff, and internal customers. Daily and weekly oversight of policy and procedures for the Client Account Services group. What do you need to succeed? Must-have Bachelor's degree or equivalent with two or more years of supervisory experience in customer service or brokerage operations. Demonstrated ability to independently analyze and resolve a variety of complex problems and interpret and establish proceduresto apply to non-routine situations. Ability to independently organize and prioritize workloads and deadlines without direction and handle multiple tasks within a high pressure environment. Demonstrated experience coaching, developing, andmentoring employees. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within and outside the organization. Series 99 or Series 7 license or ability to obtain within 120 days of hire. Nice-to-have BA/BS degree in Finance or related field. Strong PC skills with knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
