American Express Project Analyst, Global New Accounts in Ontario, Canada

This position is accountable for leading and managing multiple projects aimed at achieving reengineering, operational efficiency, compliance, and improved customer experience across all channels within the Acquisition process for Canada Global New Accounts (GNA).

This person will be a part of cross-functional teams empowered to execute the appropriate project management methodology to successfully implement organizational goals and projects involving Process Improvement, Process Alignment, Automation and Enhancements that improve the Customer Experience.

  • Accountable for leading end-to-end Acquisition process changes, within the specified timeframes, across GSN New Accounts to improve operational effectiveness and drive a frictionless customer experience

  • Monitor key monthly metrics (Automation Rate, Net Cancel Rate, and Recommend to Friend) for Canada to ensure on target

  • Ensures that Employee, Customer and Shareholder benefits are delivered in accordance with business needs

  • Functions as an agent of change across GSN and GNA

  • Work in close partnership with Finance, GNICS, RIM, GSN partners and AET to develop accurate CBA and timeline implementation

    This role may be subject to additional background verification checks.

    Exemplary data analysis, strategic thinking and Project Management skills in a matrixed organization.

  • Strong process mapping experience and problem solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

  • Experience developing cost benefit analysis of projects

  • Preferred prior knowledge of the New Accounts, Fraud or GSN processes

  • Strong peer-level influencing skills, collaborative style & team oriented.

  • Excellent communication & facilitation skills. Experience presenting to large / senior / challenging audiences, a plus

  • Ability to leverage business competitive intelligence analysis to determine strategic initiatives to drive frictionless experience

  • Six Sigma experience strongly preferred

    Note: This Position reports directly to a manager based in the UK.
