Works closely with other members of the Finance Team and other company departments and functionsEssential Functions:Primary Responsibilities:Accounts Receivable & Accounts PayablePayrollAchieve DSO and AR aging goalsMonitor balances of customer accountsInteract with customers, PSC's, and sales teamMaintain company name and address file and customer credit statusEnsure vendors are paid according to termsApplying discounts allowableOther Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:Preparation of journal vouchers, statements, and reportsMaintenance of fixed asset records and related systemsCompany accounting supportMonthly account reconciliationFinance security administrationTax reporting requirementsGovernment reporting requirementsPerform all other incidental and related duties as required and assignedQualifications:Education and Experience B.S. degree in accounting, finance, or economicsMinimum 3 years of professional accounting experienceExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skillsKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPointStrong understanding of GAAPExcellent interpersonal, communication and managerial skillsKnowledge of company policiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to motivate through positive exampleAbility to work with people to accomplish their goals and the goals of the organizationProvide support and encouragementBe open to change and facilitate change
