In this role, you will be responsible for closely working with a small team of individuals, ensuring that all assigned suspense and clearing accounts are reconciled, researched and cleared according to policy. An understanding of the lease accounting system and surround systems will be required. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in operational accounting, managing a team, and problem resolution. In addition, you will assist in reviewing processes to ensure they are effective and efficient and meet internal control requirements.   • You have the ability to manage a team of professionals capable of handling complex clearing and suspense accounts and interfacing with the accounting team to ensure timely clearance of all transactions, improved customer experience and proper internal accounting treatment

  • You will work with functional teams to understand issues encountered during reconciliation and determine if process change is necessary

  • You'll work with business partners to affect change as required

  • You will assist with creating reports to monitor clearing accounts to ensure cleared accurately and timely

  • You'll work with Accounting team on new business requirements including system testing

  • You will complete process documentation as necessary to ensure consistent execution of day-to-day activities for employees and new hires, along with the development of trainings.

Within Cisco Capital you will work within the Operations team responsible for the Financial Operations functions of Cisco Capital. Since all of the functional areas impact the clearing accounts you will have the opportunity to learn the business from the beginning to the end.


You possess strong operational accounting, reconciliation, leadership, collaboration and communications skills. You bring experience and understanding of clearing accounts and the connection between operations and accounting.

Our minimum requirements for this role:

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years' of experience, preferably in the leasing or financial services industry

  • You have experience managing a team of professionals

  • You have excellent operational accounting and reconciliation skills with proven ability to apply and train others with your knowledge.

  • You have the ability to communicate effectively with strong interpersonal skills and work with cross-functional teams.

  • You have proficient computer skills including MS Office suite
