TrueCar Client Success Manager, Major Accounts - Texas in United States

Job Description:

We are looking for a Client Success Manager, Major Accounts who is responsible for retaining and growing the relationship with assigned automotive dealer groups, including providing customer support, identifying and communicating best practices. Reporting to the SVP of Major Accounts, the Account Manager is paired with one or two field based Directors who cultivate and develop Customers, potentially on a national level.

ABOUT THE JOB:

  • Perform consistent in-store training and development for assigned dealer groups as directed by the Director and/or VP of Major Accounts
  • Be a subject matter expert on all aspects of TRUECar products and programs
  • Identify and communicate specific best practices and solutions on all aspects of TrueCar programs and products to optimize performance
  • Consistently exceed all territory goals, including retention, growth, training, dealer satisfaction and other revenue directed metrics
  • Establish and strengthen relationships with store level key personnel (GM, GSM, Sales Managers, Controller, etc.)
  • Effectively recap efforts through all appropriate methods including utilization of TrueCar’s CRM
  • Successfully facilitate resolution of escalated issues
  • Provide feedback and specific recommendations to management for how to improve TrueCar’s various dealer services
  • Represent TrueCar at industry conferences and trade shows and partner events if needed
  • Be a professional ambassador of TRUECar at all times

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 4+ years of field sales and customer service experience preferably within automotive industry
  • Customer fixated with active listening skills
  • Proven capability to engage in problem solving activities regularly and autonomously
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel, and customized CRM platforms such as SalesForce
  • Familiarity with dealership sales departments preferred
  • Proven ability to network, develop and maintain business relationships
  • Experience giving presentations to key decision makers
  • Knowledge of successful training techniques and keep a small audience engaged
  • Availability for overnight travel as needed
  • Set, pursue and follow-through with achieving goals with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrate confidence and assertiveness in an interpersonal manner
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential
  • Proven organizational skills and an exceptional attention to details
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel, and customized CRM platforms such as SalesForce
  • Availability for travel up to 75% including overnight travel as needed

NICE TO HAVE:

  • BA/BS Degree preferred
  • Automotive retail experience
  • Familiarity with dealership sales departments preferred
